How JyotirPath handles your data

JyotirPath uses the information you provide to create your account, calculate requested charts, deliver readings, control feature access and respond to verified enquiries. We aim to collect only information needed for those purposes and to give you practical choices over your profile.

Who is responsible

The JyotirPath service is responsible for deciding how information submitted through this website is used for the purposes described below. Privacy and data-rights enquiries should be sent to info@jyotirpath.in.

Information we collect

This may include your name, email address, contact number, password hash, date and time of birth, birthplace, coordinates, timezone, family context, life events, verification responses, plan and role information. Practitioner features may contain client details entered with the practitioner’s authority. Prashna sessions store the question details and location needed for that calculation.

Uploads and sensitive context

If you use Palmistry or Vastu features, we may process palm or hand-print images, home-layout files, directions, goals and notes. These uploads can reveal personal information. They are used to provide the requested result and support the account experience; they are not used as biometric identification.

Why we use the information

We use it to authenticate accounts, calculate and retain charts, personalize readings, maintain user-selected language and preferences, prevent misuse, apply administrator-approved access, provide support and meet legal or security obligations. Marketing messages are sent only when the optional consent has been selected.

Automated interpretation

AI Predicta and other reading modules use automated calculation and interpretation logic to combine chart information, Dasha periods and life-event verification supplied by the user. These outputs are reflective suggestions and are not used to make legal, employment, credit, insurance or similarly significant decisions about users.

Cookies, local storage and analytics

JyotirPath uses an essential session cookie for sign-in and security. The application may use browser storage and a service-worker cache for language, interface performance and temporary reading state; private question and oracle state is cleared on logout. JyotirPath does not currently use third-party advertising or behavioural analytics cookies. If analytics practices change, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated.

Storage, security and retention

Access to account data and uploads is restricted according to application roles. Sessions use security controls, and verified email codes are used for registration, password reset and enquiries. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes and expired code records are routinely removed. Account and reading information is retained while the account is active; verified deletion requests remove information from active use subject to security, backup, dispute-resolution and legal requirements. Enquiries and security records are retained only as reasonably needed to handle the request, prevent abuse and meet applicable obligations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, export or delete your profile. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention or law. To make a privacy request, email info@jyotirpath.in from the account address; we may verify your identity before acting.

Service providers and changes

Hosting, email-delivery, storage, security and future payment providers may process limited information where needed to deliver their function. We do not authorize them to use it for unrelated purposes. Astronomy calculations use the Astronomy Engine software within JyotirPath’s calculation workflow. If a paid checkout is introduced, its checkout notice will identify the payment processor; JyotirPath does not intend to store complete payment-card credentials.

Children

JyotirPath is not directed to children under 18 and they should not create an account or submit personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information can request its review or deletion at the contact address below.

Indian data-protection rights

Requests are handled subject to applicable Indian data-protection law and other legal obligations. Depending on the circumstances, users may ask for access, correction, completion or erasure and may raise a grievance using the contact below.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the service changes. The version displayed on this page applies from its publication date, 20 August 2026.
